Riphah International University, Sahiwal Campus, organized a Prediabetes Screening & Awareness Camp on Friday, 14th November, at the campus auditorium. The event aimed to promote early detection, raise awareness about lifestyle-related risks, and encourage preventive healthcare among students, faculty, and staff.
The camp featured free blood sugar screening, one-on-one consultations, and awareness sessions led by medical experts, including Dr. Sohail Shokat, Dr. Ali Ahsan Nawaz, and Dr. Naeem Ahmad Azad. Participants received guidance on diet, physical activity, stress management, and routine health checkups.
Organized collaboratively by the Departments of Physical Therapy & MLT, HR/HDS, and Marketing, the camp successfully fostered a proactive health culture and highlighted the importance of early detection in preventing diabetes.
