BS Human Nutrition & Dietetics

Pakistani population suffering from a variety of nutritional deficiency disorders ranging from proteincalorie malnutrition to specific micro-nutrients in certain areas of the country. The long- term and sustainable approach is to prevent and cure diseases with diet management. Realizing the importance of human nutrition in daily life the RIPHAH International University has started a multidisciplinary and interinstitutional 4-years degree program leading to BSc (Hons.) Human Nutrition and Dietetics. The aim of this program is to transform human health status through better nutrition and physical Activity and to promote an academically and culturally diverse educational and research environment by providing high-quality nutrition education and skills. Graduates scope to work as Nutrition Educationists, Nutrition Consultants, Clinical Dieticians and Food Service Administrators.
