Students from the Faculty of Science and Technology (FST) and the Higher National Diploma (HND) Department proudly represented their institution at the 3rd Riphah Intervarsity Food Competition, held at Riphah International University, Lahore Campus. Competing in an open and highly competitive environment, students showcased their creativity, technical skills, and innovation by developing and presenting a wide range of food products.
The event saw participation from leading universities across Lahore, often regarded as a hub of academic excellence. Amidst this strong competition, FST students delivered an outstanding performance. BS FST 3rd Semester students secured 1st Position for their exceptional products, Apple Pie and Kiwi Tart, impressing judges with both taste and presentation.
In another notable achievement, BS FST 1st Semester students won 3rd Position for their creatively crafted Rose Petal Truffle Bites, developed under the dedicated supervision of Miss Samra Khan.
This marks the second consecutive year that FST and HND students have participated in the Riphah Intervarsity Food Competition and returned with multiple winning positions along with cash prizes, reflecting consistent growth and excellence compared to last year’s performance.
The success stands as a testament to the students’ hard work, sincerity, and dedication, as well as the unwavering support of the faculty. Heartfelt congratulations are extended to the entire FST and HND team, especially Dr. Sabiha Abbas, Miss Samra Khan, Mr. Daniyal Munir, and Mr. Ali Usman, whose continuous guidance and efforts played a vital role in this achievement.
