M.PHIL ENGLISH LINGUISTICS

The MPhil English Linguistics is designed for individuals passionate about exploring language structure, use, and development. The program delves into advanced topics such as phonetics, syntax, semantics, sociolinguistics, and discourse analysis, emphasizing both theoretical and applied aspects of linguistics. Applicants must hold a relevant master’s or equivalent degree to apply.

• BS English (CGPA 2.5) or MA English (2nd division, i.e., 45% marks annual system) or any other equivalent degree.
• The GAT-General conducted by the National Testing Service with a minimum 50% cumulative score. The GAT-General test is valid for two years.
