

Riphah International University, Sahiwal Campus, proudly celebrated World Food Day with an engaging and insightful event organized by the Department of Food Science & Technology (FST) and Human Nutrition & Dietetics (HND). The celebration aimed to highlight the importance of food safety, nutrition, and accessibility to wholesome food for all.
As part of the event, a Free Nutritional Assessment and Counselling Camp was arranged exclusively for the faculty and administrative staff. Expert nutritionists from the department provided on-desk services, which included:
The camp offered faculty members valuable insights into their health and personalized diet counselling, promoting a culture of wellness and preventive care within the campus community.
In addition to health assessments, students showcased cultural cuisines representing both national and international food traditions. The display emphasized the diversity of food, its cultural significance, and the importance of maintaining nutritional balance in daily diets.
Heartfelt thanks to all faculty members and administrative staff who participated and appreciated the students’ efforts.
